Enhanced monitoring, personal safety and well being

User inactivity can be detected by movement sensors and an alarm is raised if no movement is detected for a set period. Temperature sensors can also raise an alarm if the temperature drops too low or rises too high. These features can be suspended when the home is unoccupied.

See who’s calling before answering

Incoming calls can be identified using Caller ID* indicating the name or telephone number of the caller.

The security alarm that can quietly call for help

Used in conjunction with movement sensors or pressure mats, the Telecom 4000 acts as a highly effective security alarm. It can be set by the user before going to bed or when leaving the house.

Automatically prioritises alarm calls

Up to 10 emergency telephone numbers can be programmed into the unit. This means that if there is no response from the first telephone number, the Telecom 4000 will automatically dial the second number on the list and so on ensuring that no call is lost. High priority triggers such as ‘fire’ or ‘intruder’ or fall detectors can be programmed to go straight to a specific response center.

Built-in flexibility for users with special needs

The Telecom 4000 offers superb flexibility and can be adapted to meet a client’s special needs. For example one option for those with hearing impairments allows the ringing of the telephone to be accompanied by a flashing light.

A system that also monitors itself

Numerous self-monitoring functions make the Telecom 4000 one of the most advanced products of its kind. The unit can be set to periodically call the response center or a senior housing manager to confirm its status. It reports low or faulty batteries or power failure by causing the alarm button display to flash on and off. If no action is taken after a pre-setinterval the Telecom 4000 will call the response center to report the problem, followed by further calls as necessary.

Attention to detail gives added reassurance

Telecom 4000 incorporates a host of other reassuring features, which includes verbal confirmation that the client’s instructions have been actioned. There is the facility to record a Personalised Alarm Message to be sent as part of any future alarm call to a relative or friend. A speech message or a reassurance tone will alert the user if the telephone line fails or the unit becomes accidentally unplugged.

All Telecom 4000 units come with a 1 year RTB warranty and a choice of service packages, which can be tailored to suit the needs of each customer.

Wireless peripherals (ROM)

The radio output module (ROM) can be wall or ceiling mounted and allows other compatible devices such as an intruder alarm, low temperature sensor, bed sensor, carbon monoxide sensor or pressure mat to transmit a signal to the Telecom 4000, eliminating the need to hard wire these devices directly to the Telecom 4000.ariety

Personal Trigger - worn round the neck, on the wrist or attached to an item of clothing, personal triggers enable a call for help to be raised anywhere in the home or garden. Additional triggers are available in either "mouse" or "pendant" styles.
