The Power-Out Alert™ is a compact, easy-to-use monitor that simply plugs into any outlet on the (110 VAC) circuit needed to be monitored.
By using two (2) Power-Out Alerts, you can monitor 220 VAC.
The unit has an attached 15' cord that wires into any alarm panel, telephone communicator, or wireless transmitter.
When Power to the monitored circuit is interrupted for 3 to 8 consecutive minutes, the Power-Out Alert closes to provide a dry contact output. This time delay feature ELIMINATES NUISANCE ALARMS due to momentary power outages.
Perfect for use in Residential Homes, Computer Rooms, Supermarkets, anywhere you need to be promptly notified of a power outage
Use the Power Fail Warning System and Dialer to:
* Protect your outdoor hot tubs from freezing in the winter.
* Protect your home from freezing when you are on holidays.
* Protect your Hog, Chicken, Ostrich, or other Livestock operation which is dependant on heating or ventilation for their survival.
POWER FAIL WARNING SYSTEM
* Runs on 110VAC for normal operation and uses inexpensive 9V batteries to operate when the power goes out.
* Does not require any wiring except to plug it in POWER FAIL SENSOR and the phone line.
* Wireless system can have the POWER FAIL SENSOR located up to 100 feet from the central alarm panel.
This Wireless POWER FAIL system consists of a POWER FAIL sensor which will Detect a Power Failure and will transmit a signal if the power remains out for more than 3-8 minutes. This delay is in place to prevent false alarms from brownouts or very short power outages.
The POWER FAIL signal is transmitted to a Central Receiving Station (the VOICE DIALER),which will:
* Dial up to four different phone numbers and give a 15 second message which you previously recorded.
* Activate the VOICE DIALER'S indoor siren.

Automatic Dialing To Friends Or Neighbours
If the alarm is not disarmed within the few seconds using one of the security coded remote controls, the security system console automatically dials up to four friends or neighbours and plays a message that the homeowner records.
The listener then has the option of pressing a key on his or her phone to activate a microphone on the console to listen in.
Self-Checking, Fully Supervised System
Every sensor installed is self-checking, and if any fail to report in to the base console at the correct time interval, the sensor's zone indicator on the alarm console flashes an alert.
If the owner tries to arm the system, a special warning tone is sounded, and a button must be pressed to acknowledge and bypass the warning before the arming sequence can be completed.
Battery Back-Up Included
If the power fails or is cut the security system continues to protect, with all features including telephone dialing and alarm siren still ready for action using an easy to replace 9-volt alkaline back-up battery in the console.
An indicator on the console warns the owner when the battery needs changing.
